Q: Do you transport cats, too?
A: Yes! We transport both cats and dogs with the same level of care and professionalism. Please specify their temperament or any sensitivities in the quote form so we can tailor their journey accordingly.
Q: Can I track my pet’s journey during ground or nanny transport?
A: Absolutely. We provide real-time updates with photos and videos via text or on our socials. For ground trips, we also offer GPS tracking whenever possible.
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: We offer transport throughout Canada, selected cities in the U.S., and international destinations via cargo or in-cabin nanny (based on airline availability and country requirements).
Q: What’s the difference between Cargo and Puppy Nanny service?
A:
Cargo: Your pet travels in the pressurized and temperature-controlled cargo area of an aircraft. This is suitable for larger pets or international travel.
Puppy Nanny: A trained handler flies in-cabin with your pet, ensuring constant supervision and hands-on care throughout the flight.
Q: Is my pet insured during transport?
A: All pets transported through us are covered under basic liability and travel insurance. We recommend asking about our optional extended insurance coverage for high-value or international trips.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred dates—especially during holidays and peak travel times. Last-minute bookings can sometimes be accommodated based on availability.
Q: What documents are required for travel?
A: For ground transport, no documents are usually required within Canada. For air travel (cargo or in-cabin), most airlines require:
A health certificate from a licensed vet (within 10 days of travel)
Vaccination records
Import/export permits for international destinations (we help with this)
Q: Do you offer crate rental or do I need to provide my own?
A: For ground and nanny services, we can provide a crate if needed. For cargo flights, we use only IATA-compliantairline-approved crates, which must meet specific guidelines. We can guide you on purchasing the right one or offer crate prep services.
Q: Can I send food or toys with my pet?
A: Yes! We encourage a small comfort item like a blanket or toy that smells like home. You can also send pre-portioned food in labeled bags—especially for long trips.
Q: What if my pet has anxiety or medical needs?
A: Please let us know in advance. Our team has experience with anxious, elderly, or special-needs pets. We can adjust the travel experience, use calming techniques, and follow any vet-recommended instructions.
Q: What happens in case of flight delays or weather issues?
A: Safety is our #1 priority. We monitor weather and flight schedules closely and will never put a pet at risk. If delays occur, we’ll keep your pet safe, cared for, and reschedule as needed—with ongoing updates to you.
Q: How do I prepare my pet before travel?
A: Once your trip is booked, we’ll send you a checklist tailored to your service type (ground/cargo/nanny). This includes feeding recommendations, crate training tips, hydration, and more.
Q: Can I meet the handler or nanny beforehand?
A: Yes! For in-cabin flights or local ground transport, we can arrange a video call or meet-up before departure to help you and your pet feel at ease.
Q: How do I pay for transport services?
A: Once your quote is confirmed, a deposit is required to secure your booking. We accept e-transfer, major credit cards, and PayPal. Full payment is due before the transport begins.
